At Montana Raised Doodles, we are passionate about breeding the absolute best of the best with health, genetics, and temperament at our forefront. As a retired certified dog trainer, I apply my expertise to provide our new owners with a head start with the common struggles most owners face when bringing home a young puppy; including potty training, crate training, and early socialization/ desensitization.

What breeds do you raise?
We specialize in red and apricot mini goldendoodles and petite/mini aussiedoodles. All of our puppies are raised in our home in Billings, MT with early socialization and handling from day one.
Is Ashley a certified dog trainer?
Yes! Ashley is a retired certified dog trainer with years of professional experience. Every puppy benefits from that background — early handling, temperament evaluation, and the foundation of good behavior before they ever go home. It’s one of the things that sets Montana Raised Doodles apart from other breeders.
What makes your breeding program different from other breeders?
Quite a bit, actually. Every one of our parent dogs is DNA health tested through Embark for over 240 genetic diseases — and we use those results to intentionally pair parents for health, coat, size, and temperament. From day 3, our puppies go through ENS (Early Neurologic Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) protocols that build resilience and confidence in their developing nervous systems. We start potty training at 3.5 weeks old and crate training at 5.5 weeks — so your puppy already has a head start before they ever come home. Do you offer national puppy delivery?
Yes, we offer safe, stress-free national puppy transportation. Distance is no barrier — we’ve sent puppies all over the country. Reach out and we’ll walk you through the process.
How do I get on the puppy waitlist?

Are your parent dogs health tested?
Absolutely. Health testing is a non-negotiable part of our program. Our parent dogs are tested for genetic health conditions common to the breed before being bred. We’re happy to share health testing documentation — just ask!
